Who We Are

We’re real people who love Jesus, love the Bible, and love each other. You’ll find farmers, families, fishermen, teachers, retirees, young folks, and everything in between—just good-hearted people walking together in faith. At the heart of our church family is our pastor, Pastor Jimmy Dean—a warm, down-to-earth shepherd with a genuine love for God’s Word and a genuine love for people. Children and Teen Ministry

Our Children and Teen Ministry is the place to be! Join us every Sunday at 10:00 AM and again on Wednesdays at 6:00 PM for an exciting time of Bible teaching, friendships, and fun. Your kids and teens will experience a Christ‑centered environment filled with energy, encouragement, and activities they’ll look forward to all week. We can’t wait to welcome them!

Resurrection Sunday Schedule

A Weekend of Hope, Resurrection, and Community. Easter is right around the corner, and we are excited to welcome you, your family, and your friends to a powerful celebration of the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This is the most victorious moment in human history—when death was defeated, the grave was conquered, and Christ rose again in triumph. At First Baptist Church of Barberville, Easter isn’t just a holiday. It is a reminder of God’s unshakeable love, His redeeming grace, and the living hope we have through Jesus. We want you to experience that hope firsthand.🌅 Sunrise Service — 8:00 AM Join us outdoors as we worship while the sun rises—symbolic of the Son rising in victory. This is always a peaceful, meaningful service that prepares our hearts for the day ahead. 🍳 Breakfast Fellowship — 9:00 AM Immediately after sunrise service, join us in the fellowship hall for a warm breakfast. It’s completely free, and it’s a great time to connect with others in the church family. 📖 Bible Study — 10:00 AM We offer classes for all ages. Bring the whole family and take part in this special Resurrection Sunday study. 🎶 Easter Worship Service — 11:00 AM Come ready to sing, celebrate, and hear a powerful message of the resurrection. We will enjoy a blend of traditional hymns and church favorites, all focused on Christ’s victory over the grave. 🥚 Easter Egg Hunt — 12:30 PM All children are invited to join us for a fun and friendly egg hunt on the church grounds. Everything is provided, and everything is free—just bring a basket and a smile!
